We’re thrilled to announce that Smartria is growing its leadership team by adding David Coyle, who will be the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. We created this new position specifically for David, in response to accelerating interest in our industry-leading solutions for registered investment advisors, hybrid RIAs with dually registered advisors, enterprise firms, and compliance consultants.
Seeing the impact Smartria has had on the financial services industry has been an experience like no other. We’re humbled to be in the position we are now—respected and sought after as a partner by some of the best firms in the industry. There’s no doubt that David, who will be based in Smartria’s home state of Tennessee, will play a key role in achieving our next phase of growth.
David is joining our talented group of employees following more than eight years of leading business development at AdvisorEngine, where he spearheaded growth efforts at the multi-custodial technology developer. He’s also worked at Interactive Data (now ICE Data Services) and Research in Motion (now BlackBerry Limited). Having started his career in our industry as a licensed representative, David’s broad and overlapping knowledge of financial software and the critical importance of compliance technology in our industry will benefit our partners and clients from day one.
As we welcome David to his new role, we want to share our gratitude for the recognition we’ve recently received from independent industry-oriented organizations. While the honor of serving our clients and partners each and every day is reward enough, we’re humbled to announce that we’ve been named a finalist for the 2023 Wealth Management Industry Awards, in the category of Compliance – Compliance Management Program, as well as a finalist for the 2023 ThinkAdvisor Luminary Awards under the category of Fintech/TAMP Platforms.
With the addition of David to the Smartria team, and the industry’s increasing awareness of the need for a modern, scalable, and streamlined compliance software solution, the future looks bright for Smartria!
